A school contacted us because they were searching for a clock system that didn’t require an antenna. We knew exactly what to offer them. Power over Ethernet clocks, also known as PoE or IP network clocks, receive both power and time through one cable connected to the facility’s Ethernet,so no antenna is necessary. Plus, because both the analog and digital PoE clocks are connected to a server with an uninterruptable power supply, the clocks continue to work during a power outage.
The clocks eliminate the need for electrical outlets and batteries and automatically adjust for Daylight Saving Time. Plus, the same accurate time is displayed on all the clocks and computers, so students in this school could never say they were late because the accurate time wasn’t displayed on the school clocks!
We also learned the school doesn’t have a bell system in place, so they were very interested in our PoE Buzzer Clocks perfect for use in classrooms, work areas or cafeterias.
We’re so sold on PoE clocks that we made a video about its benefits and features. Please watch the video, contact us about our PoE clocks, then let summer storms huff and puff without causing any damage to the clocks.
